In this presentation you will

see the progress of an

installation of a simple

terraced flower bed. This is

the view before work

commences.

The site has been

prepared and in this picture

we see the first row of

blocks being laid.

Additional rows of blocks are now being laid

and staggered back to display the basic concept

of a sloping retaining wall. The cavities of the

blocks are being backfilled as the rows

are installed.

In this picture we can now see how the installer has

used to his advantage the different concepts of flat

and round surfaces of the blocks to provide differing

interest to the retaining walls.

Now the border has had the

first planting which will

develop over time to soften

the lines of the blocks.
