When to buy?
TERRAFORCE blocks can be purchased directly from us at Terraforce UK and delivered direct to your address. Contact us with your requirements and we will provide you with a free, no obligation quote.
Why TERRAFORCE?
Does the TERRAFORCE system support planting?
Yes it does. The hollow core design allows you to make plants a part of your wall and allows water to drain back into the ground.
Can I do it myself?
Yes you can. The blocks are lightweight, 22 kg, for easy delivery, handling and installation
Is mortar required?
No, mortar is not required. The blocks are dry stacked with the interlocking system providing the strength to the structure.
Do I need geo-fabric?
This will depend on the design of your wall. We can provide a construction drawing, at a nominal cost, once we know your requirements.
Can I create colours and features?
Yes. There are several images on this site to give ideas for using TERRAFORCE blocks creatively. Steps can be built by simply reversing the standard TERRAFORCE retainer blocks so that the flat area is facing forward.
Are TERRAFORCE blocks cost effective?
They are. Generally it can be assumed that retaining walls can be built at a cost of about 70% of what a conventional retaining wall would cost.
Are TERRAFORCE blocks eco friendly?
Most definitely. The blocks are light to handle and transport, free of toxic preservatives and once completed with suitable planting, can provide food and shelter for many birds and insects.
What maintenance is required?
Your TERRAFORCE wall is maintenance free.
